A meet-up for the AuralPluralities Network to celebrate International Dawn Chorus Day! Come and meet sound artists, scholars and professionals in the South East for an afternoon of listening, learning, experimentation and reflection with others.
Hosted by Alice Eldridge with guest artist Jamie Perera and members of Sound Art Brighton we offer a range of listening activities in the Ecomusicology plot and invite you to reflect on how we adapt what we do when we are outside, listening and playing, with others?

14:00 – Welcome & information (Alice Eldridge)
14:15–15:05 – Decolonising listening (Jamie Perera) 50 mins
15:15–16:15 – Activities in parallel:
• Listen Alfresco (Kersten Glandien) >35 mins
• Pond listening* (Al Strachan) open-ended

• Networking
16:15 – 16:45 – Tea, biscuits and networking (Bethan Prosser)
16:45 – 17:00 – Group reflection
